THUNDER BAY – August 21, 2026 – Thunder Bay Police have charged two men with manslaughter in connection with the death of a woman who was injured in an assault last week.
Officers responded to a business in the 1000 block of Dawson Road on the afternoon of August 15 following reports of an assault. An injured woman was located and transported to hospital. She died from her injuries on August 17.
One suspect was arrested on August 18 and a second on August 19. A 29-year-old man and a 30-year-old man, both from Thunder Bay, each face a manslaughter charge.
Police have not released the victim’s identity or further details about the circumstances. The Major Crime Unit is handling the investigation.
